LEWIS CALVIN SCHROYER, well-known retired farmer of Wolfsville, died at his home Saturday morning, aged 82 years. He was a son of the late Lewis and Deliah Pryor Schroyer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etta Schroyer, and the following children: Mrs. Oscar Irving, Quincy, Pa.; Mrs. Milo Dusing, Benevola; Mrs. Walso Ridenour, Keedysville; Lloyd and Albert, both of Smithsburg. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Thadeus, Middletown; and Davis, Myersville.
The body will rest at the funeral home in Middletown until today at noon when it will be taken to the Pleasant Walk U.B. Church to lie in state from 1:30 until time of the service at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Raby officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
