Funeral services were held at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre with evangelist Ray Dotson officiating.
She was born in Mineral Wells, WV, a daughter of the late John H. and Neva Pryor Compton. She was a member of the Veto Church of Christ. Along with her husband, she had been an owner of the Rayon Inn in South Parkersburg, WV, near the Viscose plant.
She was survived by her son, Gene H. Daggett of Belpre, OH, her daughter, Peggy Daggett Plant and husband Herschel Plant and two grandchildren, Linda Plant and Mark Daggett. She was also survived by her brother Joseph C. Compton of Stuart, FL.; three sisters, Florence Morris of Fort Worth, TX.; Freda Stanley and Bernice Daggett, both of Belpre, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hollie C. Daggett in 1977 and one brother.
She was buried at the Tunnel Cemetery in Warren Township, Washington County, OH
