Mrs. June R. Landrum Griffin, 72, of Hoboken died Sunday afternoon at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born in Waycross to the late W.J. Landrum and Myrtice Carter Landrum. Mrs. Griffin had made Ware and Brantley County her home for all of her life.

She owned and operated June's Ceramics on Memorial Drive for thirty years before closing her shop in 2002. She then became a housewife who loved to cook cakes and cookies and spend all the time she could with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Music, Vonette Lee, and a brother, Billy Landrum.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband of forty four years, Leon Griffin of Hoboken, two daughters, Sandra Allen and her husband Tim of Hoboken, Patricia Turner and her fiancé Randy Hubbard of Helen, Georgia, her grandchildren, Joshua Ammons and his wife Amanda of Hoboken, Daniel Ammons and his wife Brittany of Hoboken, James Ammons of Hoboken, Carsie Bogue and his wife Heather of Alto, Georgia, Ryan Bogue of Demorest, Georgia, Michael Bogue and his wife Ashley of Demorest, Georgia, Carrie Bogue of Demorest, Georgia, her great grandchildren, Jonathan Ammons, Jacob Ammons, Jeremy Ammons, Allison Ammons, Danielle Ammons, Chelsie Ammons, Gracie Ammons, Diamond Bogue, Logan Bogue, Chandler Bogue, Lanie Bogue, Patty Bogue, Missy Bogue, two brothers, Robert Landrum of Waresboro, Buddy Landrum of Waresboro, a sister, Anne Lee and her husband Glynn of Hoboken, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday at Pierce Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends 10 a.m., Wednesday morning at the cemetery. The family will also receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
