Born April 11, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Ann (Breler) Miller. She married Stanley Pollard on December 30, 1972 in Rhinebeck.
JoAnn was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. To know JoAnn was to know that she was so proud of her children and her grandchildren. JoAnn was an avid photographer and loved to travel. It was through her photography that she shared with us her love of family, as well as her delight in the travels she shared with her loving husband.
JoAnn was a member of the Church of the Resurrection of Germantown, the Jennings Willet American Legion Auxiliary of Germantown and The Red Hook VFW Auxiliary. JoAnn was employed as a Teacher Assistant at BOCES in Kinderhook working with Special Needs Individuals for 15 years.
She is survived by her loving husband Stanley; her two sons, Kevin of Elizaville, Stanley Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Rotterdam; her precious grandchildren, Miranda and husband Rob, Chelsea, Angelina, Alex, Logan and Cooper.
She was predeceased by her brother Francis Miller.
Calling hours will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, December 13 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown. Services will be Wednesday, December 14 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Theodore Gerken at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection of Germantown. Interment will follow in the Cedar Park Cemetery of Hudson.
