Italian Monarch. The second to last King of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. During the revolutionary movements in 1848 he issued democratic laws which however did not obtain the expected results and between 1849 and 1851 ordered a ruthless repression that earned him the epithet of "King Bomb."
