LEVENTRY - Margaret Amelia
LEVENTRY - Margaret Amelia, 83, Llanfair Road, Dunlo, went to be with the Lord, June 8, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 21, 1923, in Johnstown, daughter of Frances and Henerietta (Engle) Shook. Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, John Hadix; grandson, Scotty; and sister, Helene Burket. Survived by loving husband, Forrest I. Leventry, and these children: Forrest W., married to the former Jean Piatek, Bath, N.C.; Nancy, wife of James Reighard, Llanfair; Ronald Leventry, Sidman; Donald, married to the former Judy Storner, Dunlo; James R. Sr., married to the former Sherri Stanchick, Addison; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sister of Francis Lawery, John Hadix, Dorothy Gergely, Leonard Hadix and Sharon McCluas. Death ended a marriage union of 67 years. A member of the Dunlo United Methodist Church, a past leader of the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Homer J. George Funeral Home, Salix, and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Monday at Dunlo United Methodist Church, the Rev. Peter Foreman officiatng. Interment, Dunlo United Methodist Cemetery.
