Cindy Jean Willis, born September 18, 1955 in Cambridge, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center after a long and brave battle with heart disease. Cindy was a 1973 graduate of John Glenn High School and Muskingham County Vocational School in Ohio and a 1998 graduate of Broward County Community College, Fort Lauderdale, FL where she received an Associate's degree with certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. She moved to south Florida in 1980 where she was an E.M.T. in the city of Miami. She was also employed by University Hospital, Tamarac, FL where she worked her way up from clerk to Director of Material Management. Motivated to help people on a more personal level which was influenced by the care and treatment she received when she was treated for Non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 1980. She embarked upon a "Mid-life" career change and pursued a degree to become a health care worker. Upon receiving her degree she moved to Cape Girardeau, MO where she was employed for two years by Southeast Hospital. She was most currently employed by Western Baptist Hospital from which she retired due to health reasons. She was a member of N.M.T.C.B. and A.S. R.T. both associated with her Nuclear Technology experience.

Cindy is survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ohio, as well as her dear friend and housemate, Jan Jones, as well as Julie, Merrie Ann, Cheryl, Pati and Jim all of Nashville, TN and Dana Heath and Ric Watson of Mayfield.

Preceding in death were her parents, Elmus & Bee Rasp Willis and both set of grandparents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January, 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating and assisted by Ric Watson. Friends may call after 1 pm Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home until service time.
