Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Baker wufe if Samuel J. Baker died Tuesday at Hotel Rest Haven her home was on a farm 3 miles esat of Weeping Water for 27 years. Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at the Hobson Funeral home with the Reverand W. L Leitner officiating and burial in Oakwood cemetery the Hobson Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Baker was born July 20 1868 In Millersburg Iowa she was baptized in the Roman Catholic church as a child. She was married on her 27th birthday to Mr. Baker at Keawink, Iowa and they moved to Weeping WAter in the spring of 1917, her husband and a son Arch Baker of the home survive two sisters Mrs. Fred Bierman Muscatine Iowa and Mrs. Clyde Higgins Des Moines and two brothers Mr. William Doty Emmettesburg Iowa and Edgar Doty Muscatine.
