Uree D. Horr, a resident of Converse County for more than two score years, died at Cozenovia, Minnesota last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Horr, leaving Douglas recently, had gone to their old home in Iowa for a visit with relatives and old-time friends; and while there had been called to Cozenovia, Minn. by the death of Mrs. Horr's brother, her death following quickly. Uree came to Wyoming in 1888, the bride of Charles W. Horr and they took up their home on LaPrele Creek, where they have since resided, save for visits to Oregon and California, in late years since Mr. Horr retired from the active management of his ranch holdings. To this union six children were born: Mrs. Dudley (Bessie) Ferbrache, Stewart, Mrs. Dave (Ruth) Roush, Esther and Arthur, all residents of this county, except Mrs. Roush who resides at Grand Island, Nebraska. One child died in infancy. (Information was obtained from her obituary in the Douglas Enterprise Nov. 10, 1931; mortuary and cemetery records.)
