Mr. Burgess was a machine operator for Cam Car Textron.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Burgess of Crossville; son, Darrell Burgess of Crossville; daughters, Karen Cagle of Crossville, and Vanessa Sullivan of Spencer, TN; brothers, Aaron Burgess, Wayne Burgess and Eugene Burgess, all of Crossville, Arnold Burgess of Cookeville, TN, and James Burgess of North Ridgeville, OH; sisters, Eula Mae Burgess of Chico, CA, and Velma Lucille Selby of Crossville; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tim Burgess, Cecil Burgess, Dan Burgess, Darrell Burgess, David Burgess, Tim Jernigan, Mark Rambo, Dirk Selby and Dessi Selby.
