MELROSE, Guysboro County, Dec. 15 --
The death occurred on Dec. 5 at Melrose, Guysboro County,
of Grace MacInnis age 70 years, widow of John MacInnis.
Her death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends,
as she had been ill only two days.
She is survived by one daughter Hannah (Mrs. Eric Erickson)
Natick, Massachusetts; three sons, Edmund, Murray and Grant
all of Melrose. Eight grandchildren also survive.
The service was held from the Glenelg Presbyterian Church
Dec. 7 at 3:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Mr. Kider of Sherbrooke,
assisted by Rev. Mr. Chisholm. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
The pall bearers were Aubrey and Austin Tate,
Robert Lawson, Vincent McKeen, William Greene and Russell McLaughlin.
