Major-General, Air Force pilot, and public figure. He graduated from the cadet corps of Polotsk, Mikhailovsky Artillery School, where he entered the theoretical courses of Aeronautical with V. Zakharova at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute and Division officers' training school and the aviation aircraft fleet. In 1913, he operated the route Kacha-Saki-Evpatoria-Sevastopol-Kacha. In 1914, he became a corps commander, and then the Army Aviation Unit in 1917, where he was appointed inspector of the Army Aviation in South-Western Front, with enrollment in the engineering troops. He was awarded the Order of St. George and St. George's arms. In the 1916-1917 aviation inspector armies of the South-Western Front. He took part in the Civil War as an aviation inspector of the Volunteer Army. He contributed to the collection and shipment of weapons to the army. In 1919 he headed the inspection of aircraft of the Armed Forces of South Russia, and was assigned to the Office of the Chief of Aviation of the Russian army of General P.N. Wrangel. In 1920, he was evacuated to Gallipoli, and later in exile in France, Paris, where he worked as a labour. In 1920 board member, then deputy chairman of the Union of Russian military pilots in France.
