"Muncie Star: Former Albany Postman Succumbs

Milton S. Bolerjack, 72, of 2705 South Walnut Street, one-time publisher of the Albany Chronicle and retired rural mail carrier, died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a heart attack the night before. He had been in failing health for some time and suffered several heart attacks recently.

He published the Albany Chronicle in the years immediately preceding the first WW and then joined the mail service, serving an Albany rural route until his retirement in 1939. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge in Albany and the Masonic Lodge in Kalido, Ohio.

Surviving are: the widow, Eva R. and a son, Robert M Bolerjack, both of Muncie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. H.K. Clevenger and the Rev. Maurice Berry at the Rust funeral home in Albany. Burial will be in the Strong Cemetery with grave side services in charge of the Albany IOOF Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 o'clock this afternoon and 7 to 9 o'clock this afternoon."
