Booker, Dean Dexter – son of the late Susie Mae Booker, was born March 14, 1958 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dean departed this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at NHC Fort Sanders, after injuries sustained in an auto accident 8 years ago. Dean was educated in the Knoxville School System. Preceded in death by his mother, Susie M. Booker; grandmother, Roma Davidson; grandfather, George Davidson; brother, George F. Booker. Survivors brothers, Harold (Woodson), Donnell (Sherry) Booker and Earnest Booker; sisters, Sandra Tipton, Debbie Booker and Lisa (Anthony) Johnson; sister-in-law, Estella Booker; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Reverend Richard S. Brown Jr. officiating. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Services to conclude with a full dove release.
