Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Hibbing. Memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Salvation Army or Season's Hospice.

She died Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at her daughter's home in Rochester. She was born June 1, 1914 in Emmons, Minn. She married Casper A. Rice on Oct. 9, 1932 in Oylen, Minn. They lived in Wadena County until 1934 when they moved to Big Falls, Minn. and then in 1942 they moved to Hibbing. In 1962 she moved to Minneapolis. In 1972 she moved to Hibbing for a year. In 1973, she moved to North Dakota and in 1981, she moved to Rochester. She had been a production line worker for Lakeside Industries in Minneapolis. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and helped with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by...(private)

She was preceded in death by her husband (Feb. 2, 1961), one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
