Renee Keller, 49, of St. Joseph passed away Tuesday January 24, 2012 at a local hospital.

Renee was born June 4, 1962 to Guy and Bobbie Jo Keller in Felton, California. She graduated from South Sevier High School in Monroe, Utah and De Anza College in Cupertino, California with an Associate Degree in Industrial Security. Renee resided in California, Oregon and Utah before moving to St. Joseph seven years ago. Her interests included her animals, karaoke, tie die parties and collecting table top lighters and cigar boxes. She especially cherished her friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, A'lece Henson.

Surviving her are her parents, Guy Keller, Kingman, Arizona and Bobbie Newhard, of St. Joseph; one brother, Mark Keller, of St. Joseph; two sisters; several half-sisters and half-brothers; one niece, Alena Pidgeon; and her dear companions, Leslie Seek and Colleen Reilly.

Ms. Keller has been cremated under the direction of Clark-Sampson Funeral Home

A private family gathering will be held later today (1/26/2012).
