She attended Washington Irving High and graduated in 1960. After graduation she enrolled in Cosmetology School and after graduating she then taught cosmetology classes.

Mary Lou met the love of her life, Kip Lusk. She and Kip eloped in 1962 and were married in Oakland, Maryland. Mary Lou and Kip shared their love for more than 50 years.

By the end of September 1962 they moved to Winkelman and were blessed with two sons, Timmy and JoJo. In 1983, they moved to Kearny.

Mary Lou is survived by her best friend and husband, Kip; son, Timmy (Bonnie); sister, Vicki Cianfarani of West Virginia; grandchildren, Travis of Arizona and Tiffany of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Jordan Nicole and Ayden Manuel; nieces, Mary Canisales (Tadd), Belinda Licano (Paul) and Sharron Ramos (Joe) along with numerous great-great nieces and nephews and extended family members.

It is so hard to deal with the passing of someone who is loved by so many. Let us remember Mary Lou as the beautiful lady we will always hold in our hearts. And let us take comfort in knowing she is in Heaven as God's newest Angel.

Services for Mary Lou were held Friday, Feb. 3, at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church and were officiated by Pastor David Wade.
