Survivors: His wife, Betty Downey Scanlon, 2 Daughters, Luann Scanlon Russell, Louisville, KY, and Lisa Downey Butterfield, Bowling Green, KY and step-son, David Downey, Stanford, KY along with 4 grandchildren; Stephanie, Maggie, Jessica and Rus Downey and 1 great-granddaughter, Madison.
Don was a business man in Liberty KY for 65 years and an active member of Hustonville Baptist church.
Don was a well-known citizen of Liberty and will be missed by all his family and friends.
