The painful news of the death of Oscar C. Groves was brought here on Saturday from La Crosse, where he died in one of the hospitals, following an operation. He was taken there a few days since and little hopes were entertained for his recovery. Mr. Groves was a Viola business man, about 40 years old, and we believe [he] was a native of Liberty town.
