Services were held Monday at Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Decatur for Lowell H. Brewer, 41, of Omaha. He died March 5, 1987, in Omaha.A prayer service was held Sunday evening at Hamel and Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.

Lowell Henry Brewer was born July 25, 1945, in Decatur. He was a 1963 graduate of Decatur High School. He lived in Omaha for the past nine years and was employed as a Meat cutter for Northern State Foods in Omaha. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry 'Hank' Brewer. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, his mother, seven brothers, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Elder Robert Standing officiated at the rites. Mrs. Mary Bacon was the organist, and Lonnie Brewer Jr. was the vocalist.

Pallbearers were Donald Brewer, Dennis Hightree, Mark Krause, Dean Hightree, Larry Sparks and Lyle Larsen. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Richards, Kevin Foley, Willie Kyler, Paul Richards, Jim Cullinane and Mike Cornick. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery near Decatur. Military graveside honors were given by Burt County Vietnam Veterans Association.
