Donald C. "Kim" Maliskey Jr., 61, passed away Thursday. Kim fought hard but lost his battle with cancer.

Kim was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Maliskey Sr. and his mother, Phyllis Grant Maliskey.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Grider Maliskey; daughter, Kimberley Jacks and husband, John Jacks Jr., of Birmingham; brothers, John P. and Walter W. Maliskey of Rockwood, Tenn., Thomas J. Maliskey and wife, Bobbie, of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren, Courtney Gayle Jacks, Jakey Jacks and Nicholas Jacks of Birmingham.
