Born Oct. 24, 1910, in New York City, she was the daughter of George Hugo and Silvia Krengel. She married Howard S. Cody on Aug. 28, 1948, in Greenwich, Conn., and he is among the survivors. Mrs. Cody was a member of the church, the Order of Eastern Star No. 253 of Wawarsing, N.Y., and the George F. Johnson Order of Amarahth, New York.
Other survivors include three daughters, Gail Milligan, Medway Mass., Sandra Cody and Melanie Spencer both of Valley Center; one brother, Hugo George Krengel, Daytonna Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
