Kayla Jene Evans left us to be with the Lord on January 16th, 2012 she was 11 years old. Kayla planted a seed in many hearts and always lit up the room with her beautiful smile. She enjoyed playing with bubbles and loved to sing and dance. We all know little Miss Kayla had a healthy appetite, with popcorn and pickles being at the top of her menu. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving father and mother Wesley and Tressa Evans, brother Hunter, sister Angelina; Grandparents Samuel and Therese Shands, Charles and Anita Campbell and Sandra Evans; Great Grandparents Margaret Evans, Charles Temple and Edward and Viola Shands; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is dancing in Heaven with her Great Grandpa Rube Evans and Great Grandmas Shirley and Paula Temple.
A memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church on Mills Ave in Lodi, Ca on Friday January 27, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Cherokee Memorial Park on Harney Lane in Lodi. Afterwards the family invites you back to the church for a celebration of Kayla's life.
