Darrell McGee, 74, passed away as a result of a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Red Top Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Darrell was the son of Orus and Lena (Petty) McGee. He married Sharon Horton on June 20, 1986 in Fort Worth. Darrell was Chief Probation Officer for Young and Stephens Counties for several years and a farmer and rancher. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors at time of death included his wife, Sharon McGee of Loving, Texas; sister, Mary Evelyn McCanlis of Littlefield, Texas; brothers, Glynn McGee of Henderson, Texas and Gary McGee of Olney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth McGee and one sister, Elwanda Nall.
