Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Markwell Westfield Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Grozik officiating. Burial will be in Richwoods Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, at the funeral chapel.
She was born June 24, 1900 at Cowden to Isaac Matthew Barton and Ida Alice Torrence Barton. She was married June 30, 1919 at Indianapolis, Ind. to Mack R. Sweeney. He preceded her in death December 25, 1969. She was married in 1970 to Ray Phillips. He preceded her in death April 24, 1978.
She was a homemaker and member of the Clark County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are daughters, Marilyn Sweeney of Decatur and Mrs. Jack (Bobbie) Newlin of Homer; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, two grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters.
