Bradie Aliff Gray Allen was the daughter of James & Mary Caroline Clay Aliff.

Her first husband was Robert Lee Gray, whom she wed December 23, 1903 in Charleston, WV. Lee died in 1922. Together they had 8 children:

Mrs. B. Allen, 74, Has Fatal Attack
Rock Creek, WV - Mrs. Bradie Allen, 74, died Sunday at her home here as the result of a heart attack.
Survivors inclued four sons, Clyde Gray of Kingston, WV, Dennis Gray of Milburn, WV, Eugene Gray of Hammond, IN, and James Allen of Huntington, WV; two daughters, Mrs C.E. Kitty Jarrell of Rock Creek, WV, and Mrs. C.E. Elsie Robertson of Glen Rogers, WV; a sister, Mrs. Rosa belle Sauls of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Tom Aliff of Whitesville, WV; 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Rebecca Chapel here by the Rev. Wade Webb and the Rev. Howard Williams. Burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery at Naoma, WV.
The body was taken from Armstrong Funeral Home at Whitesville, WV, to the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Jarrell Monday evening.
