Graveside services held for Monk Infant
Graveside services for Jennifer Ann Monk, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie H. Monk of Mendenhall, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 2, from the Mendenhall Cemetery. Rev. James Smith officiated and Upton Funeral Home of Mendenhall was in charge.
The Infant was born and died on July 1 at the Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include the parents; 1 brother, Michael Wayne Monk, and 1 sister, Cindy Rae Monk, both of Mendenhall; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethyl Broadhead of Butter, Ala.; maternal grandfather, Joe A. Blackmond of Brewton, Ala.; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Monk of Mendenhall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
