Joseph Robert Foster, Cape Fair, MO, the youngest son of William R. and Minnie E. (Morris) Foster, was born November 18, 1931 in Cape Fair, MO and departed this life January 18, 2012, in his home, after losing his battle with cancer. Robert is now resting high on the mountain, having fought a good fight, and is now receiving his reward in heaven.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Cape Fair and a retired lumber yard manager. He was united in marriage to Naomi Curtisine Jett in 1957 and to this union they had two sons. Robert and Naomi divorced in 1983. He was a member of the Cape Fair Baptist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, nine of his siblings, Naomi, who passed away December 6, 2011, and one grandchild.

Survivors include: two sons, Kenny Foster of Spokane, MO and Benny Foster of Cape Fair, MO; one sister, Loretta Arnold of Bakersfield, CA; four grandchildren, Dylan, Tanner, Shilo and Sierra; one great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Robert will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
