The funeral for Mr. Edward Baker, 59, of Eutawville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at St. James Baptist Church, Eutawville, with the Rev. Wayne Shaw officiating. Burial will be Heyden Hill Cemetery, Eutawville.
Mr. Baker died Friday, Aug. 1 at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg.
Mr. Baker, son of the late Mrs. Laura Baker and Willie Baker, was born July 14, 1944, in Eutawville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Julius Baker.
Survivors include a special friend, Mary McFadden of the home; three sons, Edward (Darlene) McFadden of Eutawville, Jacob McFadden of Rhode Island, and Tyrone (Penny) McFadden of Eutawville; two daughters, Susie (Lynneth) of Cross, Shirley Baker of Aiken; two brothers, Lewis (Vivian) Baker of Eutawville, Robert Lee Baker of Bronx, N.Y.; four sisters, Martha Ann Gibbs, Annie Ruth Thomas and Minnie Bryant, all of Eutawville, and Shirley Baker of Bronx, N.Y.; two stepdaughters, Ebony Heyward and Mary B. Hankerson; one sister-in-law; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
