Mary A. Dorris, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012. She was a resident of Camby.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Dorris; four sons, Larry (Debra) Dorris of Plainfield, Steven (Tina) Dorris of Poland, and Ricky (Patricia) and Michael (Betty) Dorris, both of Indian­apolis; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerels and Jean (Ho­ney­­­­­­­cutt) Ragland; a great-grandson; and a great-great-grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Singleton Community Mor­tuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Mary A. Dorris, 77, Camby passed away January 26, 2012. She was born March 22, 1934 in Lafayette, TN to the late Jerels and Jean Honeycutt Ragland. Mary married Kenneth Dorris August 18, 1950 in Indianapolis and he survives. She was employed 34 years at RCA retiring as a group leader. Other survivors are sons Larry (Debra) Dorris of Plainfield, Ricky (Patricia) Dorris of Indianapolis, Steven (Tina) Dorris of Poland and Michael (Betty) Dorris of Indianapolis; grandchildren Larry (Deborah) Dorris, Kevin (Tracy) Dorris, Cheryl (Steven) Baise, Crystal (Billy) Land and Rena Dorris; great grandchildren Andrew Dorris, Scotland Dorris, Bryan Baise, Jamie Dorris, Braden Lane and Kym Lane. She was also preceded in death by great grandson Justin Dorris and great great grandson Mason Dorris. Services 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 30 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29 at the mortuary. Burial Westridge Park Cemetery.
