Excerpt---Waitman Willey Keener, 75, president of the Monongalia County, W.Va. Court, died Feb. 7, 1936, in the Morgantown Hospital. Mr. Keener was born Feb. 22, 1861, near Morgantown, the son of J. P. and Mary C. Keener, deceased, and spent his entire life in Monongalia County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Arnett Keener, and one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Blose, of McKeesport. The deceased was a successful dealer in cattle and livestock, and was much interested in race horses over the tracks of this county and trained at many times at the Waynesburg and Carmicheals race tracks.
