Canaan Baptist Church. Funeral Services were Wednesday August 22, at Dilworth Church of God with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Donnie Handley, and Rev. Jimmy Kelly officiated. Bell Funeral Home of Sumiton directed. Pallbearers were Willard Bruce Whitworth, Warren Gary Whitworth, Joe Neal Whitworth, Timothy Duane Justice, James Larry Freeman and Charles Gilbert Freeman. She ius survived by four daughters , Marie Robbins, Jasper, Edna Hamby, Bremen, Sarah Whitworth and Barbara Justice. both of Empire. Five sons William Edwin Freeman, Dixie anna, Alabama, James A Freeman, Johnny Freeman, Cordova, Roger Freeman Jasper, forty eight grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.
