Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Monday July 15, 2013 at Turbeville First Baptist Church with burial in Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home.
She was born April 29, 1940 in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Cleo Richard Coker and Natalie Alice Purvis Coker. Dena was a member of the First Baptist Church of Turbeville and was active in the Children's Ministry as long as she was able to attend. She was educated in the Whitten Center in Clinton, S. C. She worked about 20 years at Skyline Mfg. Co. In Turbeville until it closed.
Dena will be remembered for her love for people, especially children. She had a child-like heart and truly felt connected to children. She loved the lord and served in whatever capacity she could. She always greeted you with a smile and a hug.
