He was a son of Adolph F. and Mae Weiler Seelman and was born at Fish Creek, Town of Lewis, Apr. 21, 1926. He attended West Leyden Central School.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Church, Fish Creek.
He was taken ill on Sunday and was taken to Rome Hospital.
Surviving are his father, four sisters, Mrs. Albert Evans, Utica, Mrs. Roy Prosser, Westernville, Miss Mary Seelman, Utica and Miss Irene Seelman, Utica; three brothers, Irvin serving with the Army in North Carolina, Lyle at home, James at home, several uncles, aunts and cousins. A brother, Cpl. Stuart Seelman, 25, was killed Nov. 30, 1944, during the invasion of Germany.
The funeral will be Thursday with a prayer service from the Trainor Funeral Home, Boonville at 9 a.m. and services from St. Mary's Church, West Leyden, at 10. Burial will be Sts. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Fish Creek, in the Spring. Utica OD, Tuesday, January 27, 1948
