Albert Vincent Beltrame, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle, Iowa. He was born July 9, 1928, in Des Moines, to Pietro and Angelina (Peliatti) Beltrame.

Albert served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a Welder after 19 years of service.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Winona; son, Joe (Judy) Beltrame; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Benefiel, Ashley (Don) Cook, and Joey Beltrame; and great-grandsons, Mattix and Owen Benefiel. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Beltrame; four brothers, Geno, Tony, Vincent, and Guerino; and his sister, Florence.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made designated to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in memory of his daughter, Lisa.
