Professional Hockey Player. At 5'9, and 161 lbs, he played the position of Left Wing for teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), and the American Hockey League (AHL). He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1948 to 1953 and from 1954 to 1955, and the Chicago Blackhawks from 1954 to 1955. After he retired from professional hockey he became a teacher and later a school principal. He later moved to Lindsay, Ontario, where he died in 1999, at the age of 71.
