Francis Xavier Fruechtl, 66, of Spokane, passed away Aug. 9, 2007, at the VA Hospital in Spokane. He was born Oct. 11, 1940, to Frank Fruechtl and Delores (Allen) Fruechtl.
He attend I.H.M. Academy. He was a brick mason, a history buff and an excellent cook.
Francis is survived by his brother, Michael Fruechtl of Coeur d'Alene; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; younger brother, John; and older sister, Carolyn Westfall.
Memorial mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, interment to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene. ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL is in care of the cremation.
