Pauline C. Burgess, 95, died May 18, 2014 at Dogwood Plantation. She was born August 14, 1918 in Alcorn County, MS to the late Columbus Edward Cobb and Alma Bass Cobb.
Pauline was a graduate of Alcorn Agriculture High School (Kossuth High School) and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was retired from Security Bank after 42 years, starting as a teller and retiring as Assistant Vice-President. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and going to "Picking on the Square."
Survivors include her son, Ricky Burgess (Lisa); and her granddaughter, Mary Bratton Burgess.
Preceding her is death includes her husband, Bratton Burgess; parents; and a sister, Pearl (Herman) Sanders.
