Funeral services for Mr. Walter Frederick "Fred" Parcell, 68, of Alpine, were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. John Copeland and Roy DePolitte officiating. Burial was in Parcell Family Cemetery.
Mr. Parcell died Friday, May 25 at his home. He was a machinist and attended Grace Baptist Church and Cornerstone Christian Church.
Born July 29, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter F. Sr. and Margaret (Lamborn) Parcell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Molly (Young) Parcell.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Parcell; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Suzanne and Rick Brown of Allons, Mary Helen and Fred Lindstrom of Maryville, and Bonnie Elizabeth and Kevin Sandrock of Alpine; a brother, Samuel Lamborn Parcell of Townsend; 34 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rick Brown, Fred Lindstrom, Kevin Sandrock, Tommy Brown, David Brown, and Jared Lindstrom.
