Samuel H Walker, aged 79, died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs Earl Shirley, with whom he resided.
Surviving are three daughters and four sons, Mrs Shirley, Mrs Albert Kelly, Mrs Harry Watson, John, George, Brice and Clair Walker, all of Carlisle; 28 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Lutz Funeral home, Rev Dr Ira S Ernst, pastor of Grace United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Plaingield Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lutz parlors tonight.
