He was a 2003 graduate of Kent County High School, playing baseball all four years. In his sophomore year he hit the only home run the team had that year as a junior varsity player.
He enjoyed metal detecting and camping with his family and young ladies. He loved to fish and hunt. He did his hunting with a camera, not a gun. He loved wildlife and enjoyed watching them. From a very young age, he knew he wanted to serve his country, and was very proud to have the opportunity to do so.
Mr. Spry was a member and a coach of Kent County Babe Ruth Baseball and the Kent County American Legion baseball team.
