Surviving are 2 sons, Matthew Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL, Joshua Smith of Pelham, AL; 3 sisters, Shirley (Jimmy) Dean of Dothan, AL, Judy (Darwin) Long of Clanton, AL, Anita (Dennis) Sullivan of Clanton, AL; Mother of his children, Linda Smith Coogan of Pelham, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther & Loese Smith; stepfather, Dewey Baird; sister, Patsy Spradlin and sister, Jeanie Baird.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, AL.
