Janet Sue Harrell, 63, New Castle resident, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Feb. 10, 1948, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Grover and R. Kathleen Williams Harrell.
She was a lifelong resident of New Castle and a 1966 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She was employed by Farm Bureau Insurance for almost 40 years before her retirement. She was very involved with her family's activities.
Left to cherish her loving memory include sister, Bobbie Fultz (husband Ralph) of rural New Castle; nieces and nephews, Bill Harrell Jr. (Evelyn) of Indianapolis, Brenda Ryan of Deland, Fla., Barbara Prince (Tom) of Vallonia, Ashley Fultz of New Castle, Jason Robert Fultz of New Castle, Eric Christopher Fultz of New Castle and Ralph A. Fultz of New Castle; and several great-nephews; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Harrell of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Maxine Harrell; and her brother, Billy Lloyd Harrell.
