Stricken At Home

Mrs. Anna Ewell Russell of R. F. D. No. 2, Paducah received a message Tuesday from her brother C. D. Ewell, of Chicago, informing her of the sudden death of her sister, Miss Cynthia Ewell, at her home in Chicago. Miss Ewell's death was due to high blood pressure, the message stated.

Miss Ewell was born in Paducah November 24, 1865. She moved to Chicago in 1907 and had since made her home there. Her father, John Ewell, was a pioneer resident of this city and county, having moved her with his parents from Prince William county, Virginia, In 1826.

Miss Ewell is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Russell of this county and Mrs. Lena H. Diamond of California; three brothers, C, D. Ewell and Ed Ewell of Chicago, and John G. Ewell of California. She also leaves two nieces and two nephews, one of whom is H.E. Russell of Route 2, Paducah.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Chicago. The body was cremated and the ashes will be buried in the Ewell family lot in oak Grove cemetery, Paducah.
