Kathy, sees a young girl's plea on a news story who was in need of a liver transplant in her late to early 20's and a mother. After seeing the news story aired, Kathy volunteered to be becoming a donor to this young lady and was found to be a perfect match. Both went to surgery where part of Kathy's liver was harvested and implanted into the young lady. This surgery almost claimed her life but despite the dangers, she survived to once again become a healthy young and loving angel. Both young girl's livers became whole again and the young girl survived with complete recovery.
Kathy was the mother of two young men, Aaron and James. She was the daughter of my sister Betty Louise Keele Hough and Charlie F. Hough of Bena, Virginia. She is sadly missed.
