Death at Ferney
Mrs. Sarah Grugan, an aged resident of Ferney, died at her home there Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock of the infirmities of old age. About seven years ago Mrs. Grugan suffered a stroke of paralysis and had since been ailing and was compelled to take to her bed about a month ago.
She is survived by five sons and three daughters and the following brothers and sisters: Robert Bridgens, this city; Joseph Bridgens, Watsontown; Samuel Bridgens, who resides in Iowa and Miss Louise Bridgens and Mrs. Nancy Reiter.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home at Ferney on Thursday morning. Deceased had been a life long member of the Methodist church.
