Obituary from an unknown newspaper:
James J. Grugan of Lock Haven, father of Lloyd L. Grugan of Shintown, and Herbert B. Grugan of Renovo, died at his home last Saturday. He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Besides his wife and the sons named, he is survived by two other sons and one daughter; James, of Sunbury, Joseph, present residence unknown, and Mrs. George Schwank of Williamsport. Two sisters and one brother; Mrs. William Streck, of Glen Union; Mrs. Morris Harter of Lewistown, and William Grugan, of Glen Union, also survive.

Funeral services for James Jefferson Grugan were conducted at the Grugan home, 29 East Bald Eagle Street, by the Rev. Curvin H. Stein, D.D. Burial was made at Dunnstown. Mr. Grugan, who died of a complication of ailments, was born at Whetham, 74 years ago. He leaves his wife, one daughter, Mrs. G. M. Schwak of Williamsport, two sons: Lloyd L. of Renovo, James L. of Sunbury, and one brother and two sisters.
