Lineage
Peter Mills "the Dutchman" settled in Greenfield (now Bloomfield), then a part of Windsor. His father-in-law Edward Messenger deeded him land.

In 1692 Peter Mills gave to his son Peter a "house and 10 acres of land at Greenfield.
