Russell H. Aleshire (Buck) was born August 18, 1940 to Holly Lofton Aleshire and Marita K Hampton-Aleshire in Grays Harbor (Aberdeen) Washington. After a long battle with various health issues he passed away peacefully on January 19 and he is now with our Heavenly Father. He was a long time Harborite and graduated from Weatherwax High School. He worked numerous jobs in and around Grays Harbor, which is to include timber falling for Weyerhauser Lumber Co., Saginaw Shake Mill, and work at the Grays Harbor community hospital. He married Lois Lynn Moorman and had a son, Russell Oden Aleshire. He briefly served in the United States Army until he received a medical discharge. He moved to the Ogden area over 12 years ago and resided here since. He enjoyed collecting die-cast cars and was an avid fisherman. He also loved camping and enjoyed the great outdoors. He was very family oriented and was admired by all as a very soft spoken and gentle person.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers (Gerald and Bud) and one sister (Julaine).
He is survived by four sons, Russell (Regina), Shawn, Loren (Rhonda) whom all reside in Ogden, and Scotty who resides in Washington State. Numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren whom all love him and will miss him greatly.
