Bernadette A. Bell, 90, of Lincoln, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Lancaster Manor. She was born June 14, 1921 to Roy and Ruth (Gunn) Heinke in Dunbar, Neb. She was raised on a farm near Nebraska City and in 1939 married William E. Bell. They lived in Omaha for a time where she worked for Mutual of Omaha. They moved to Nebraska City where she and her husband, Bill, owned and operated Bell's Studio of Photography for 37 years. After retirement they moved to Lincoln and enjoyed traveling in their motor home. They wintered in Mission, Texas for a number of years.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Judy K. Bell of Lincoln; grandchildren, William R. Bell and wife Claudia of Garrison, Neb., Kenneth Bell and Lora of Martell, Mark Bell and wife Cheryl of Lincoln; eleven great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ruth (Gunn) Heinke; husband William E. Bell (1992), son, Leroy M. Bell (2005), sister Charlotte (Heinke) Bohl (2010).

Memorial Service 10 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2012, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 So. 14th St. Private burial at Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City, Neb. Memorials in care of the family for Lancaster Manor. Condolences www.lincolnfh.com
